Why can literature and poetry be so beautiful? Poet Laureate of Frysl\u00e2n, Nyk de Vries, answers that question in a lesson program for (bovenbouw<\/em>) Havo\/VWO schools in Frysl\u00e2n. The programs are suitable for small and large groups alike and consist of a combined performance and lesson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nyk\u2019s stories (largely his own)\u2014 about his own fun and insecurity during his high school days, about expectations of falling in love, and how he was drawn to literature and writing in\u2014 are told in a humorous and accessible way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
